  1. You did it! Still cannot fathom the time – can’t believe it was 6 hours so must be me reading it incottectly!! Looked on site too – they don’t show split times after 18 miles – pity thia is just about the time the man with the hammer hits – when did your get it?
    Lizx

    • Yes, we did it! And I have not heard that phrase before, but I’m going to use that one from now on. The man with the hammer hit me at mile 19. I could not run anymore after that.

    • Liz. Yeah you are reading it right. it did take me a long time. unfortunently I came down with a bit of a cold a few days before the race. I don’t know how much faster I would have been without the cold but probably not to much.

  2. Wow! you finished! Awesome man! Some say training for a stand alone marathon is way harder than training for a Ironman. At least I get to swim, bike AND run, training for a marathon is pure running. ugh! But…You guys ARE the Running Brothers! Nice work!

    • Thank you Peter, we didn’t train as hard as we should have. We’re definitely going to work on that this next time around. I think we plan on doing another Marathon in October. That gives us 5 months to train properly.

  3. You finished a marathon?! That is awesome!

Good luck training, I’m sure you can crush your time on the next one.
